November brings the release of Arelle 2.37.72 alongside iXBRL Viewer 1.4.80. This month, the development focus has shifted toward laying the groundwork for 2025 regulatory reporting standards, expanding international validation suites, and optimizing our delivery packages.
Platform & Validation Milestones
- ESEF 2025 Preview: We have introduced work-in-progress (WIP) support for the ESEF 2025 disclosure system. This is currently incomplete but serves as an early foundation for upcoming filings.
- EDINET Rules Milestone: We added more validation rules, bringing the total to 401 EDINET validation rules (now approximately 95% complete).
- Netherlands iXBRL: Updated the platform to support Netherlands iXBRL 2025 validation requirements.
- Command Line Improvement: A new –optionsFile argument has been introduced, allowing you to load CLI options directly from a JSON file for cleaner automation.
iXBRL Viewer Updates (v1.4.80)
- Optimized Package Size: We have successfully reduced the footprint of both our Python and npm packages, ensuring a lighter and faster installation process.
