February has been a highly productive month of refinement and acceleration for the Arelle project. With the release of Arelle 2.38.17 and iXBRL Viewer 1.4.88, we have delivered major performance optimizations, clearer project guidelines, and updated regulatory previews.
Here is what we accomplished this month:
Performance & Rendering Enhancements
- Faster Load Times: We have optimized loading speeds, yielding a 15% load time improvement for US-GAAP taxonomies.
- Table Linkbase: This update addresses and resolves critical Table Linkbase rendering bug fixes.
Validation & Compliance
- EDGAR 26.1 Previews: Early-stage support is now live with EDGAR 26.1 preview builds.
- Rule Improvements: We have made targeted DBA validation rule improvements and KVK validation rule improvements to strengthen our Danish and Dutch reporting support.
Infrastructure & Policy Updates
- Official Versioning Policy: To provide more clarity and transparency around our releases, we have published our official Versioning Policy.
- New Conformance Suite Runner: We have transitioned to a modernized testing setup. You can view the code and progress at our new conformance suite runner repository.
Arelle iXBRL Viewer (v1.4.88)
- Visual Fixes: This release resolves an interface bug, providing a fix for column layout fact highlight wrapping to keep report presentation clean and readable.
