Hi,
I am trying to validate an instance from ESEF Conformance Suite according to formula linkbases in ESEF Taxonomy. Unfortunately, after opening file containing instance documents, only formylas from file esef_cor-for are resent and not from esef_all-for. Could You tell me what might be the issue here?
With ESEF only the esef_cor formulas are part of the required taxonomy. (Arelle includes full validation in it’s ESEF plugin, see documentation page “ESMA ESEF installation”).
To run the additional formulas, their formula linkbase can be added onto an already loaded report package by file->import file (open the formula linkbase), and then select validate.
I am trying to open a html file with Arelle, but by clicking in source (e.g. 8K) a message that can’t reach this page appears. I have followed all the relative instructions and I use the latest version of arelle with all the necessary plugins enabled. When I choose for validation the US SEC (Global Filing Manual), the inline xbrl viewer is opening but nothing else (e.g. Cover or Financial Statements). Should I need to do anything else?
The Global Filer Manual is not in general use. For U.S. SEC filings use the Edgar Filer Manual, Pragmatic selection, which matches what is in use by SEC. For ESEF use the validate/ESEF plugin and select ESEF to match what is in use for ESMA.
