Happy holidays from the Arelle team! As we close out the year, the final 2024 release delivers updates to both the platform and viewer, with a continued focus on regulatory support, validation enhancements, and accessibility.

Arelle 2.36.1 includes full support for the EDGAR 24.4 release, as well as the newly published Filing Index. Additional improvements include support for NT-19 validation, expanded DBA validation rules, and a fix for a GUI bug affecting the calculation view.

The latest iXBRL Viewer release (version 1.4.46) adds accessible highlight color options, fixes an XHTML validity issue, and includes additional translation improvements to support a growing global user base.
