We’re kicking off the new year with several important enhancements to both the Arelle platform and iXBRL Viewer. The big news this month is the promotion of the ESEF 2024 validation plugin from beta, now fully supported and passing the ESEF 2024 conformance suite. This update supports continued alignment with evolving European filing requirements.

The platform also includes expanded DBA validation coverage and the introduction of EDGAR Plus iXViewer support across all SEC filings, providing a consistent viewer experience within EDGAR.

The latest viewer release improves clarity and accessibility by showing fact unit labels based on UTR descriptions. It also includes performance improvements and bug fixes to ensure a smoother user experience.
